ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIP INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
1.   AGE - 18 & younger as of August 1, 2026

2.  Be a junior MEMBER OF A HUNT or PONY CLUB affiliated
with a Hunt.

3.  Successfully complete the following - 1 Qualifier, 5 hunts, 3 hound/kennel activities (mounted or unmounted).

4.  Junior Log - A completed log with hunt/hound related activities,
including items mentioned in #3 above, listed  and initialed by 
your MFH. All activities on your log must occur April 1, 2026 -
Dec. 31, 2026.

5.  Qualifier entry form and results - competitor's name must appear on the "Qualified list" on the JNAFHC Website. If you attend more than one qualifier, you must complete an entry for each. Turn them in at the Qualifier to the person in charge. Forms are found on the website.

6.  Complete the requirements on the horse/pony which you plan to ride in the Championship...there are no substitutes.

7.   Turnout/Attire -  Juniors should dress in traditional fall hunting attire throughout the qualifying meets, i.e., shirts with ties and hacking jackets, jodhpurs, or breeches and appropriate boots, certified helmets.  NO braiding, but clean and neat ponies, tack and boots are always expected … turnout is important!
