Important Information if stabling at KHP

KHP guests:

Please send your stabling checks, $30/night/stall, payable to Iroquois Hunt, to Mary Jo Moloney, 1304 Cooper Dr., Lexington KY, 40502, or deliver on arrival.

JNAFHC signs will direct you from the KHP entrance to Barns 3 and 4, reserved for JNAFHC. Stall assignments will be at the barns by hunt clubs.

1) a reminder to get your equine health papers in order. Please see www.kyhorsepark.com for those stabling at the KHP. There is a Ky Ag check point soon after you enter the Park, and your papers will be checked to ensure they match the trailered animals. Ky requires a Coggins test to be drawn within 12 months of entry into the state. In addition, a current Health Certificate, within 30 days of dates of travel is required. Kentucky does accept the Equine Passport version of health papers. See www.kyagr.com/documents.

2) Due to the large one-star event and two other large shows at the KHP, plus insurance issues, the JNAFHC will not be permitted to ride in the Park. Hand walking and grazing are welcome. We will send information soon on our popular (and free) riding park, Masterson Station, which is just a short haul from KHP. MSP has over 600 acres, a sand arena and a large array of xc jumps for every level. We apologize about the inconvenience, but it out of our control; it is our hope that JNAFHC competitors and parents wishing to mount up Thur/Fri/sat can organize some group rides at MSP which should be a great icebreaker. See www.mastersonequestrian.org.

3) Please BYO bedding, water/feed buckets, a short hose, etc., to KHP.   As an option, KHP guests can order hay, feed, bedding, and rent paddocks ahead at www.deverinc.com. Stalls do not have to be cleaned on vacating.

4)  When you arrive we will provide addresses, maps and gps coordinates for all venues.

5) Please remember to always lock vehicles, trailers, and secure anything while at KHP!

6) While the Finals venue, Boone Valley Farm, does have a stock tank and water spigot, they are a short walk from the trailer area, so you may find it convenient to bring horse water with you Sunday morning.
