JNAFHC Finals
Moore County Hounds
November 14 & 15, 2025
Southern Pines, North Carolina

https://moorecountyhounds.com

The oldest recognized pack of foxhounds in North Carolina, and a symbol of tradition and camaraderie since 1914.  Nestled in scenic Southern Pines, our private foxhunting pack is renowned for the thrill of outdoor sporting life, the fun friendships, and the joy of watching our Penn-Marydel hounds in action.  Our hounds, with their great scenting ability and booming voices, are a testament to generations of careful breeding and training.
Designed for Junior riders, 18 years old & younger, on appropriate
foxhunting ponies and horses.

The emphasis is on the junior rider and mount, with a focus on suitability for the young rider. It is a year long process which culminates with a special weekend planned for juniors, filled with great hunting, new & old friends, new territory, hounds, trophies, ribbons and prizes.

It is an opportunity for young people to be inspired by the countryside
and realize how important it is to do their best to protect it for
future generations.
